Etowah, NC – Peter R. Meyer, president of Medical Business Associates, has announced that Medical Business Associates has been accepted as a direct software vendor to United Health Care. As a direct software vendor, medical facilities and physicians that accept United Health Care insurance plans will gain several important benefits. Those benefits include:

By directly filing claims, the possibility of a clearinghouse dropping a batch of claims or having problems translating HIPAA compliant files to legacy NSF formats that many carriers still use, is eliminated.

As a software vendor for Medicaid in South Carolina, professional medical facilities that see patients who reside in South Carolina will see a decrease in the number of errors that occur in filing claims, a decrease in turnaround times and see an increase in profitability. Patients will experience increased accuracy in billing and quicker turnaround times.

Etowah, NC – Peter R. Meyer, President of Medical Business Associates, a North Carolina claims management and billing services provider, announced that Jon Gryle has been promoted to Clinical Team Leader. Previous to the promotion, Gryle worked at Medical Business Associates for one and a half years as a Clinical Claims Processor. As Clinical Team Leader, Gryle is responsible for supervising and taking responsibility for team members, coordinating with other team leaders and supervisors, training and managing new employees, carrying out and enforcing Medical Business Associates’ policies, and managing workload adjustments as necessary.
“I am pleased to announce Jon as the Clinical Team Leader,” said Meyer. “I am confident that Jon will excel in this position. His widespread knowledge and experience in the medical billing industry will enable him to be a phenomenal team leader and role-model for all of Medical Business Associates’ employees.”
After receiving his Applied Science Associates Degree in Accounting, Gryle began working in accounting and medical billing. Gryle’s notable resume includes experience in working as a Manager of Information Systems, Supervisor of a Retail Accounting Department, Inventory Coordinator and Accounts Receivable Associate.
